Call for Applications – Grants for the Promotion of Research in 2026

The call for applications for grants for the promotion of research in 2026 (2026 – 1st application round) has now been published. A total of DKK 1,281,000 has been allocated for the year, and the application deadline for the first application round is 1 March 2026.

The Greenland Research Council hereby invites researchers to submit applications for grants for the promotion of research no later than 1 March 2026.

Researchers may apply for grants of up to DKK 250,000 for projects within all academic disciplines. The scheme is designed to promote cross-institutional collaboration as well as research projects based on societal needs. It is a requirement that the proposed project is relevant to research in Greenland.

The scheme is financed by the Government of Greenland’s research account (account 64.30.01).
