Development of research capacity
The PhD and Postdoctoral stipend program is one of the cornerstones of Greenland Research Council’s work to support and develop the next generation in Greenland research.
– With the PhD and Postdoctoral stipends, we promote opportunities for new and younger research aspirants to engage in scientific work, which can develop their interest in a scientific career. The PhD students also strengthen the research competence and capacity at Greenland research institutions, so that they can continue to grow, says Chair of Greenland Research Council Josephine Nymand.
