I 2017 dokumenterede vi, at bestanden er g\u00e5et voldsomt tilbage siden 1960. B\u00e5de de gamle og nye unders\u00f8gelser blev gennemf\u00f8rt med el-fiskeri, men de d\u00e6kkede ikke hele laksens udbredelse. I studiet vil vi anvende to forskellige metoder til at bestemme hele udbredelsen, samt unders\u00f8ge om bestandstilbagegangen fortsat er synlig. Ud over el-fiskeriet vil vi indsamle DNA fra vandet (eDNA). Hvis der er laks til stede, kan man finde eDNA i vandet, og kombinationen af de to metoder vil give et mere korrekt billede af b\u00e5de udbredelsen og antallet af laks. Hvis eDNA metoden fungerer, kan den bruges som en nem og hurtig metode til at unders\u00f8ge den mulige tilstedev\u00e6relse af laks i andre gr\u00f8nlandske elve.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Metoder for inklusion af samfundet og formidling overfor samfundet:<\/strong><br \/>\nResultaterne formidles gennem GNs hjemmeside, samt en videnskabelig artikel s\u00e5fremt resultaterne tillader det. Derudover er der lavet en aftale med Polarfronten om en artikel omkring laksen ved Kapisillit.
