Det til trods findes der ingen studier af populationsstrukturen hos gr\u00f8nlandshajen. Derfor er det ikke muligt at vurdere om arten skal betragtes som en stor bestand eller som flere mindre bestande. Af samme \u00e5rsag er det sv\u00e6rt, at forvalte arten, hvilket bliver s\u00e6rlig relevant, hvis et kommercielt fiskeri skulle genopst\u00e5.<\/p>\n<p>Populationsstrukturen belyses bedst med pr\u00f8ver fra k\u00f8nsmodne hunner. De fanges kun f\u00e5 steder i verden, blandt andet Sydvestgr\u00f8nland, men der findes pt. Ikke tilstr\u00e6kkeligt med pr\u00f8ver. I dette studie indsamles genetikpr\u00f8ver fra hunner fra Kangerluarsussuaq (Gr\u00e6defjorden) syd for Nuuk. Tidligere har et samarbejde med lokale fiskere vist, at de k\u00f8nsmodne hunner er til stede i sommerm\u00e5nederne. Vi vil anvende langliner tilpasset hajfiskeri og fiske intensivt i 8 dage. Der tages en lille genetisk pr\u00f8ve fra alle fangede individer, som herefter genuds\u00e6ttes.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Er der genetisk forskel p\u00e5 k\u00f8nsmodne hunner fra Gr\u00f8nland og Norge?<\/li>\n<li>Er der genetisk forskel mellem hajer fra hele Nordatlanten?<\/li>\n<li>Er der genetisk forskel mellem hajer, der er station\u00e6re i Nuup Kangerlua og dem der migrerer over store afstande?
