{"id":6509,"date":"2020-09-23T16:31:26","date_gmt":"2020-09-23T19:31:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nis.gl\/?post_type=projekt&#038;p=6509"},"modified":"2021-08-18T15:07:32","modified_gmt":"2021-08-18T18:07:32","slug":"upscaling-present-and-future-greenhouse-gas-exchange-in-greenland","status":"publish","type":"projekt","link":"https:\/\/nis.gl\/da\/projekt\/upscaling-present-and-future-greenhouse-gas-exchange-in-greenland\/","title":{"rendered":"Upscaling present and future greenhouse gas exchange in Greenland"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Forsker: Efr\u00e9n L\u00f3pez-Blanco<\/p>\n<p>Form\u00e5let med dette projekt er at forbedre vores forst\u00e5else af arktiske \u00f8kosystemer i relation til<br \/>\nklimaforandringer.<br \/>\nProjektet vil vise hvordan landskabet fremover vil \u00e6ndre sig i Gr\u00f8nland og hvilke<br \/>\nbetingelser de naturlige \u00f8kosystemer med deres dyre og planteliv vil have i de kommende \u00e5rtier.<br \/>\nProjektet vil endvidere unders\u00f8ge hvordan disse \u00f8kosystemer indeholder mekanismer som kan<br \/>\nforst\u00e6rke den globale opvarmning.<\/p>\n<p>Den globale opvarmning har store konsekvenser for Arktis i form af reduktion af hav-is udbredelse,<br \/>\nmindskning af gletchere og den gr\u00f8nlandske indlandsis s\u00e5vel som vegetations sammens\u00e6tning og<br \/>\nstruktur. Disse \u00e6ndringer har direkte konsekvenser for anvendelsen af naturlige resurser og de<br \/>\nindeb\u00e6rer ogs\u00e5 vigtige feedback mekanismer i et klima under forandring. Det er komplicerede<br \/>\nsamspil mellem \u00f8kosystemer, land, hav og atmosf\u00e6re som kun kan blive fuldt forst\u00e5et gennem<br \/>\navancerede modeller. Projektet bringer en stor ekspertise indenfor denne modellering sammen<br \/>\nmed data og viden om Gr\u00f8nland hvilket er et stort skridt fremad mod en samfundsm\u00e6ssig bedre<br \/>\nh\u00e5ndtering af udviklingen i en varmere verden.<\/p>\n<p>Projektet vil fokusere p\u00e5 tidligere, nuv\u00e6rende og fremtidige \u00f8kosystem processer og hvordan disse<br \/>\nspiller sammen med atmosf\u00e6ren og klimaet i Arktis. Det vil bygge p\u00e5 store datam\u00e6ngder som<br \/>\nallerede er tilg\u00e6ngelige fra Greenland Ecosystem Modeling (GEM) programmet. Projektet vil tage<br \/>\nmodel ekspertisen samt GEM data og bruge disse som vigtige brikker i en forst\u00e5else af fremtidige<br \/>\nkonkrete forandringer i Arktis.<\/p>\n<p>Med foresl\u00e5et base p\u00e5 Gr\u00f8nlands Naturinstitut og Aarhus universitet vil dette g\u00f8res gennem et<br \/>\nvidere samarbejde med de f\u00f8rende eksperter i klima modellering ved K\u00f8benhavns Universitet og<br \/>\nDanmarks Meteorologiske Institut samt et etableret samarbejde med om \u00f8kosystem modellering<br \/>\nmed Edinburgh University. Dermed vil et multi-institutionelt samarbejde omkring bedre forst\u00e5else<br \/>\naf \u00f8kosystemer og deres dynamik i relation til forandringer i klimaet blive skabt.<br \/>\nDette vil signifikant forbedre muligheder for direkte at koble data og projektioner fra Gr\u00f8nland til<br \/>\ndet overordnede globale billede s\u00e5ledes et aktiv for en st\u00f8rre<br \/>\ninternational udvikling af forskningen p\u00e5 omr\u00e5det.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Forsker: Efr\u00e9n L\u00f3pez-Blanco Form\u00e5let med dette projekt er at forbedre vores forst\u00e5else af arktiske \u00f8kosystemer i relation til klimaforandringer.
