\nProjektets forskningsomr\u00e5de, form\u00e5l og forskningssp\u00f8rgsm\u00e5l:
\n<\/strong>The book, Foreign Policy in Greenland, will shed light on what kind of competences Greenland has in IR and how Greenland undertake foreign policy, while still being a self-governing territory underneath Danish jurisdiction. Even though Denmark has the ultimate power when it comes to foreign- and security policy, Greenland has received more autonomy in this field in recent years. Back in 1995 a permanent Danish\/Greenlandic official group was established to discuss all foreign- and security matters that was related to Greenland. In 2003, Greenland and Denmark signed a joint declaration in Itilleq regarding the Greenlandic involvement in international affairs. Since then, the Government of Greenland has written a foreign policy report every year to outline the activities of Greenlandic international relations. This book will undertake a systematic analysis of the foreign policy papers from 2003 and onwards. What kind of activities are Greenland undertaking in international affairs? What are the objectives? How influential is Greenland in foreign policy?<\/p>\n

Metoder for kompetencebygning i form af inddragelse af samfundet:<\/strong>
\nForskningen vil finde sted ved Ilisimatusarfik. Her vil bogens f\u00f8rste kapitler blive testet i klasselokalet som del af undervisningen ved afdeling for samfundsvidenskabelige studier. Diskussioner gennem undervisningen vil ogs\u00e5 v\u00e6re med til lede hen p\u00e5 nye id\u00e9er og hj\u00e6lpe med at give en fornemmelse for, hvordan materialet vil blive modtaget af de studerende. Projektet vil ligeledes blive diskuteret gennem seminarer med kolleger ved Ilisimatusarfik.
\nBogen m\u00e5lrettes til studerende og forskere p\u00e5 alle niveauer med interesse for arktiske forhold, udenrigspolitik, internationale relationer, geopolitik, paradiplomatik, ‘shelter theory’ og enhver med interesse for gr\u00f8nlandske samfundsforhold.<\/p>\n

Metoder for formidling overfor smafundet:<\/strong>
\nFormidling vil ske i forskellige former via offentlige foredrag omkring emnet, workshop eller seminar omkring temaet og eventuel podcast via universitetets hjemmeside.<\/p>\n
