De nyeste genetiske metoder g\u00f8r det nu muligt at bestemme hvilken bestand hver enkelt torsk tilh\u00f8rer; indensk\u00e6rs, udensk\u00e6rs eller \u00d8stgr\u00f8nland\/Island. N\u00e6ste skridt er, at unders\u00f8ge hvor de torsk, der fanges i de biologiske unders\u00f8gelser, stammer fra. Ved vi ikke det, s\u00e5 bliver r\u00e5dgivningen omkring b\u00e6redygtige kvoter baseret p\u00e5 et usikkert grundlag.<\/p>\n<p>I dette projekt, vil vi unders\u00f8ge hvilke torskebestande, der fanges i de \u00e5rlige biologiske unders\u00f8gelser indensk\u00e6rs, og i hvilket omfang hver bestand bidrager til fangsterne. Unders\u00f8gelserne er m\u00e5lrettet 1-3 \u00e5rige fisk, og danner grundlag for at vurdere hvor mange torsk, som kan forventes at blive tilg\u00e6ngelige for fiskeriet i den n\u00e6rmeste fremtid. N\u00e5r vi kender bidraget fra de enkelte bestande i unders\u00f8gelser, vil det v\u00e6re muligt at mindske den usikkerhed, der i dag er forbundet med resultaterne.
