Skibets anl\u00f8b markerer en ny epoke for gr\u00f8nlandsk havforskning. Forsynet med udstyr til b\u00e5de trawlfiskeri og med et nyt multibeam-ekkolod, vil Tarajoq kunne udf\u00f8re langt flere forsknings- og milj\u00f8opgaver, end hvad hidtil har v\u00e6ret muligt.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #808080; font-size: 10pt;\">26. april 2022<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">I dag ankom Gr\u00f8nlands nye forskningsskib Tarajoq til Sikuki \u2013 Nuuk Havn. Det 61 meter lange forskningsskib, som har kostet 235 mio. kroner, repr\u00e6senterer Gr\u00f8nlands hidtil st\u00f8rste investering i forskning og markerer en ny \u00e6ra for gr\u00f8nlandsk havforskning. Skibet er nemlig udstyret med den nyeste teknologi, som g\u00f8r det muligt for den marine biologiske og geologiske forskning at n\u00e5 helt nye dybder.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">&#8211; Med Tarajoqs multibeam-ekkolod vil vi kunne n\u00e5 ned til nye dybder af havbunden. Hvor vi med Sanna har v\u00e6ret begr\u00e6nset til 1000 meters dybde, vil vi med Tarajoq kunne kortl\u00e6gge havbundens topografi helt ned til 3000 meters dybde. Samtidig, vil vi kunne unders\u00f8ge havbundens underliggende geologiske enheder. S\u00e5 hvis vi kender den, kan vi estimere omr\u00e5der som er af s\u00e6rlig interesse, fordi de er produktive af f.eks. rejer og hellefisk. Samtidig, vil vi kunne udpege s\u00e6rligt s\u00e5rbare koralomr\u00e5der, som er n\u00f8dvendige at beskytte mod fysiske forstyrrelser s\u00e5som bundtrawl, fort\u00e6ller Diana Krawczyk.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element elementor-element-9a06245 elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default\" data-id=\"9a06245\" data-element_type=\"section\" data-e-type=\"section\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-container elementor-column-gap-default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-100 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-ac94b67\" data-id=\"ac94b67\" data-element_type=\"column\" data-e-type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-2fd5eff elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"2fd5eff\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>Kortl\u00e6gningen af havbunden er det vigtigste led i MSC-certificeringen af rejer og hellefisk<\/strong><\/span><\/p><p>Mens en kortl\u00e6gning af havbundens fysiske, geologiske terr\u00e6n kan hj\u00e6lpe forskerne med at modellere den biologiske distribuering af habitater, er bundpr\u00f8ver og videooptagelser med til at underbygge m\u00e5lingerne med mere detaljerede billeder af, hvilke fisk og havbundsdyr, der lever i et omr\u00e5de.<br \/>Havbundskortene vil bidrage med den viden, der er n\u00f8dvendig for en aktiv, b\u00e6redygtig forvaltning af de marine ressourcer i Gr\u00f8nland, og som p\u00e5 sigt kan v\u00e6re med til at optimere fiskeriet.<\/p><p>&#8211; Inden for det kommercielle fiskeri vil man kunne drage nytte af habitatmodellerne, s\u00e5 fiskeriet kan maksimeres, samtidig med at man beskytter unikke omr\u00e5der med s\u00e5rbart dyreliv og sikrer en langsigtet, b\u00e6redygtig anvendelse af marine ressourcer i Gr\u00f8nland\u201d, siger forsker Diana Krawczyk.<br \/>En aktiv forvaltning af havbunden er i dag det vigtigste punkt i vedligeholdelsen af MSC-certificeringen for rejer og hellefisk.<\/p><p>L\u00e6s mere om projektet: <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span style=\"color: #005058;
