Greenland Research Council establishes and develops Research in cooperation with International Researchers, Research Institutions and Research Environments.
The international interest in research on the Arctic, especially in the areas of environment, climate, natural resources, community development, and geopolitics is rising markedly.
In addition to the Nordic countries, the number of nations showing interest in research in the Arctic, and a number of these countries have created polar research or research dealing with conditions in the Polar Regions.
With the desire to increase the visibility and awareness of the Greenlandic research environment and attract foreign research, Greenland participates already active in a variety of international networks, organizations and commissions dealing with research in the Arctic.
